What you get
A real rehearsal every week, and what to do with it
A paper that sits like GATE
A GATE-like CBT screen with the on-screen calculator. 65 questions in 180 minutes, marked the way GATE marks, with negative marks on MCQs.
One All-India rank
The same paper runs in all three slots and everyone is ranked together, whichever slot they sat. One ranked sitting per paper.
Results the same evening
Your score, rank, percentile and full solutions at 8:30 PM IST, for everyone at once, after the last slot has closed.
What to fix before next Saturday
A report of where your marks went and the topics to fix before the next paper. Add them to your Outlyn study plan in one tap.
Missed a Saturday
Sit it later as an unranked mock, with the full report and solutions. No rank of its own.
A leaderboard, if you want it
Opt in to show your name and college on the leaderboard. Everyone sees their own rank and percentile either way.
Prizes
The top 10 across the series win Amazon vouchers
- Your best 6 papers count. Sit at least 6 of the 9 to be on the series leaderboard, so you can miss or drop up to 3.
- Ranked by average percentile on those papers, then by total score. An exact tie shares the prize for that place.
- Show your name on the leaderboard to win. Only students who choose to show it are ranked for prizes.
- Winners confirm before the voucher is sent: your GATE 2027 application or admit card, and a short call if we ask. Malpractice forfeits a prize.
Before you register
Is it really free?
Yes, for everyone, on every plan. All 9 papers, the results, the full solutions and the report after each paper cost nothing, and they don't count towards a plan's mock tests.
Can I change my slot?
Yes, any time. You pick Morning, Afternoon or Evening when you register, and you can switch whenever your Saturday changes. Entry to a slot closes 30 minutes after it starts, and the paper ends at the slot's end for everyone, as in GATE.
What if I miss a Saturday?
You can sit that paper later as an unranked mock, with the full report and solutions; it shows where your score would have placed, without a rank of its own. Each paper has one ranked sitting, on its Saturday.
When do results come out?
At 8:30 PM IST on the same Saturday, for everyone at once, whichever slot you sat: your score, All-India rank, percentile and full solutions. Results wait until every slot has closed, so nobody sees an answer while someone else is still writing.
Is it the same paper for everyone?
Yes. The same paper runs in all three slots of a Saturday, and everyone is ranked together, which is what makes your rank meaningful.
Do I need my GATE admit card?
Not to sit the papers. You can add your GATE enrollment ID or admit card later from your account; GATE admit cards are expected in early January. Prize winners confirm with their GATE 2027 application or admit card.
When are prizes given?
After the last paper's results on 30 January, once the winners have confirmed. Prizes follow the series leaderboard, not a single paper.
